A Chinese-learning app I built around my weekly in-person class. Students can study custom flashcards and card packs, and their progress carries over between sessions. The class still drives what I build next.

A personal website for the brilliant linguist and researcher Yingfei Lu. The design is stripped back so her research takes priority.
Strom
A heating controller my friends and I built. It combines weather forecasts with electricity prices, then uses convex optimization to decide when the heating should run. I helped define the problem and shape the product.
Agent Skills
The skills and hooks I use when coding with agents. The skills stress-test plans, cut robotic prose, and help me write agent instructions. The hooks flag teammates' commits I haven't reviewed and notify me when Claude Code needs my attention.
